1.Polyurethane sandwich panel has low thermal conductivity and good thermal performance. When the density of rigid polyurethane is 35~40kg/m3, the thermal conductivity is only 0.018~0.024w/(m k), which is about half of EPS, and is the lowest among all thermal insulation materials.
2.Polyurethane has moisture-proof and waterproof properties. The closed cell rate of rigid polyurethane is above 90%, which is a hydrophobic material and will not increase the thermal conductivity due to moisture absorption, and the wall surface will not seep water.
3.Polyurethane is fireproof, flame retardant and resistant to high temperature. After adding flame retardant, polyurethane is a flame retardant self-extinguishing material. Its softening point can reach more than 250 degrees Celsius, and it will only decompose at higher temperatures: in addition, polyurethane will form carbon deposits on its foam surface when burning. This layer of carbon deposits helps to isolate the foam below. Can effectively prevent the spread of flames. Moreover, polyurethane does not produce harmful gases at high temperatures.
4.Due to the excellent thermal insulation performance of polyurethane board, under the same thermal insulation requirements, the thickness of the outer envelope structure of the building can be reduced, thereby increasing the indoor use area.
5.Strong anti-deformation ability, not easy to crack, stable and safe finish.
6.The porosity structure of polyurethane material is stable, and it is basically a closed-cell structure. It not only has excellent thermal insulation performance, but also has good freeze-thaw resistance and sound absorption. The average life of rigid foam polyurethane insulation structure can reach more than 30 years under normal use and maintenance conditions. It can be achieved in the life of the structure under normal use conditions, in dry, wet or electrochemical corrosion, as well as due to the growth of insects, fungi or algae or due to the destruction of rodents and other external factors, will not be damaged.
7.Comprehensive cost-effective. Although the unit price of polyurethane foam is higher than that of other traditional insulation materials, the increased cost will be offset by a substantial reduction in heating and cooling costs.
